Shipping Templates

Shipping templates let you pre-configure which carrier and service to use based on rules, reducing manual selection when booking shipments.

Creating a template

1. Go to Settings → Shipping Templates
2. Click Add template
3. Configure the template:
   • Name - a descriptive name (e.g., "Domestic Standard")
   • Carrier - the default carrier to use
   • Service - the default carrier service
   • Conditions - rules for when this template applies
4. Click Save

Template conditions

Templates can match based on:

• Destination country - e.g., use PostNord for Sweden, DHL for international
• Order weight - e.g., use parcel service under 20 kg, freight above
• Order value - e.g., use express shipping for high-value orders

How templates work

When creating a shipment, MPH WMS checks the shipping templates in order and selects the first matching template. The carrier and service are pre-filled, saving time during booking.

You can always override the template selection manually when booking a shipment.

Priority

Templates are evaluated in the order they appear in the list. Drag and drop to reorder them. The first matching template wins.
