Zone-split picking rounds that lock lines until they are packed
A pick list is a persisted round of picking work. Lines are locked to their list until they are packed, skipped, or the list is cancelled, which is what stops two pickers walking to the same shelf for the same order.

Creating pick lists
- On Orders, select the orders you want to pick.
- Choose Create pick list from the fulfilment action button. The available actions depend on the warehouses the selected orders belong to - with a mixed selection you only get the actions all of them offer.
- Split by profile - tick the pick profiles to apply. Each shows a summary of its rules. There is always a dashed catch-all row: unmatched lines land here automatically, in a list named by whichever profile is marked catch-all, or Rest if none is.
- Choose the pick mode.
- Create.
One list is created per matching profile. If that is a single list you go straight into it; otherwise you land back on the zone overview.
Pick lists work with no pick profiles configured at all - everything lands in "Rest". Only set up profiles when you actually want to split work between zones or pickers.
Batch or per order

Batch is faster per unit and is the right default when orders are small and repetitive. Per order costs more walking but removes the sorting step at packing, which is worth it for large or fragile orders.
The zone overview
Operations → Pick groups open and in-progress lists by zone, in pick profile sort order with the catch-all last. The page refreshes itself, so a list created by someone else appears without a reload.
- All lists shows every list in any status, with a status filter.
- Pack queue (N) jumps to the packing side.
Working a list
Open a list to see its status, how many of its orders are packed, who holds it, and the pick mode. Then:
- Start picking claims the list for you and opens the picking view.
- Continue picking if you already hold it.
- Take over from <name> appears when someone else holds it. It asks for confirmation and the takeover is logged - this is meant for "they went home", not for jumping the queue.
- Print produces the batch or per-order pick sheet, using your pick list print template.
- Cancel abandons the list.
Statuses

Individual rows on a list are pending, packed, skipped or removed.
Cancelling and removing
These two release work, so it is worth knowing exactly what they do.
Cancel a list. Unpacked lines are released. Orders covered only by this list leave the pack queue, even if a packer has already claimed them. Orders that were already packed keep their fulfilments and shipments - cancelling a list never unwinds a shipment.
Remove one order from a list. If the order also sits on other pick lists it stays on those. If this was its last unpicked list, it moves straight to the pack queue.
When an order reaches the pack queue
An order appears in the pack queue only when every pick list covering it is picked. An order split across three zones waits for all three. This is the reason a picked order can seem to be missing from packing: another zone has not finished it yet.
