Stock Levels

Stock levels show how much of each item you have in each warehouse.

Viewing stock levels

1. Go to Items and click on an item
2. Select the Stock tab
3. You'll see stock levels broken down by warehouse

Each warehouse shows:

• On hand - total physical stock in the warehouse
• Available - stock that can be allocated to orders
• Allocated - stock reserved for open orders
• Average cost - the weighted average cost per unit

How stock levels update

Stock levels are updated automatically when:

• A purchase order receipt is received - increases on-hand stock
• A fulfillment is completed - decreases on-hand stock
• A stock count adjustment is made - corrects on-hand stock
• An order is allocated - moves stock from available to allocated

Multi-warehouse

If you operate multiple warehouses, each item tracks stock independently per warehouse. The item list page shows the total across all warehouses by default.
