Items

Items are the core of your warehouse. Each item represents a single product with one SKU - there are no variants in MPH WMS. If a product comes in different sizes or colors, each variation is its own item.

Key concepts

• SKU - a unique identifier for each item
• Tags - free-text labels for organizing and filtering items
• Tax rate - the VAT/tax percentage applied to this item
• Average cost - automatically calculated based on stock movements
• Reorder point - the stock level that triggers a low-stock alert
