Reorder suggestions
Get a ranked list of items to reorder based on sales velocity, current stock and supplier lead times
The Reorder suggestions page (Purchasing → Reorder Suggestions) computes which items need restocking and pre-fills a draft purchase order for you.
How the suggestion is calculated
For each tracked, non-bundle item:
- Daily velocity — outbound stock movements over the lookback window divided by the number of days.
- Days of stock —
(available + incoming − committed demand) / daily velocity. - Reorder point — either the item's manual
reorderPointorvelocity × (lead time + safety stock days). - An item is suggested when projected stock falls below the reorder point.
The lookback window and warehouse can be changed from the filter bar.
Creating a PO from suggestions
Suggestions are grouped by supplier:
- Select the rows you want to order (or use the group checkbox to select all from one supplier).
- Adjust the Order qty inline if you need to deviate from the suggestion.
- Click Create PO to either start a brand-new PO with the selected lines, or append them to one of the supplier's existing open POs.
Explain with AI
Each row has a small sparkle button next to the item name. Clicking it asks the configured AI assistant to write a short explanation (in Swedish) of why the suggestion looks the way it does — daily velocity, lead time, projected coverage, and risk.
This is useful when you want a quick reality check before placing the order, or when handing the queue to someone less familiar with the calculation.
The AI explanation requires the AI assistant to be configured under Settings → AI assistant. It works with Anthropic, OpenAI, or a self-hosted Ollama / LM Studio / vLLM endpoint.
