MPH WMSCarriers
Supported shipping carriers and how to connect them
MPH WMS books shipments, prints labels and tracks deliveries through your carriers. Credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
Two ways to ship
- Your own agreement. You add your carrier credentials, the carrier invoices you directly, and MPH just books against your account. See Carrier configurations.
- An MPH standard agreement. You ship without a carrier account of your own. Bookings are priced from the contract and charged to your prepaid wallet. See Standard agreements.
You can mix the two. A carrier configuration is either backed by a contract or by your own credentials, and you can have several of each.

Carriers differ more than their marketing suggests. What each integration actually supports:

Where cancellation is not supported, MPH marks the shipment cancelled on its side and tells you to cancel in the carrier's own portal. Cancelling in MPH alone does not stop a parcel.
Carrier-specific requirements worth knowing early
- DHL price quotes need separate e-ID credentials on top of your customer number, and DHL onboarding for the quoting API.
- DSV requires an SMS pre-notice on most services, and Incoterms on cross-border freight.
- Bring is the only carrier with bulk open and close, which is what bulk shipments are built on.
- UPS uses OAuth client credentials rather than an API key.
Connecting a carrier
- Go to Settings → Carriers and shipping → Configurations.
- Add config, pick the carrier, and enter the credentials it asks for. The fields differ per carrier; see each carrier's page.
- Save, then test the connection.

Services and additional services
Each carrier exposes a list of services (the product you are buying, such as a parcel to a pickup point) and additional services (extras such as insurance or an SMS notice). Additional services can be optional, mandatory for a service, or offered as a group where you must pick exactly one.
Which services are valid depends on the sending and receiving country. MPH only offers services that are valid for the route you are actually shipping.
