The full stock movement ledger across every item
Inventory → Transactions is the complete stock movement ledger. It is the same data as an item's stock history, but across the whole catalogue, so it is where you go to answer "what happened to our stock last Tuesday".
Columns
SKU, item, type, quantity, warehouse, reference, unit cost, total cost, notes, who did it, batch, lot, and date.
Movement types

Every movement points back at what caused it - a goods receipt, purchase order, sales order, fulfilment, stock count or manual adjustment - so you can go from a number straight to the paperwork behind it.
Correcting a unit cost
If stock was booked in at the wrong cost, the unit cost on a movement can be corrected in place from this page, using the popover on the unit cost column. This is for fixing a mistyped receipt cost, not for revaluing stock as a matter of routine.
Changing a unit cost changes your inventory valuation and your cost of goods sold for the period the movement falls in. If your books are already closed for that period, correct it there too.
Quantities never get edited
There is no way to edit the quantity on a movement, by design. If a quantity is wrong, correct the stock with an adjustment or a stock count, which leaves both the original movement and the correction visible. An audit trail you can edit is not an audit trail.
